As you can see from the picture above, The Lanes was built in an old candlepin bowling alley. The ball stops were removed, but the hardwood bowling lanes were kept.

The picture below is of the control room. There were also several iso-booth's down the hall, one of which was directly under an Indian Restaurant on Harvard Ave, now long since gone. We used to put very loud bass amps in there, which made the restauranteur very unhappy on those odd occasions that we had a session during his business hours! I stopped eating there once he figured out my connection to the studio :-).
